A-Star is a wonderful agency. It was my first time being hired through a staffing agency and Amanda and Melinda were spectacular. They really listened and took into account what I was looking for, and matched me with seemingly the perfect job for me. It was exactly the environment and people I was in need of and searching for in terms of employment and their turn around time was just amazing. Amanda actually listened to me when I told her what I wanted. I was a job developer for over a decade and I know how employment placement usually goes. the agent has accounts with job sites and they find fits for those jobs based on reliability. Amanda was abnormal! She listened to EXACTLY what I wanted and found the PERFECT job for me paying the PERFECT salary! Melinda was amazing also! She was responsive, supportive and professional. I'd refer anyone to A-Star! They are TOP OF THE LINE!

I needed a change of scenery after dealing with COVID struggles in the hospitality business. Went job-hunting on Indeed and got in touch with Amanda Andrade. She provided helpful tips on my resume and after interviewing with her she was able to help get me a temp position at an insurance company. That has now turned into a full-time position that has the environment and compensation I've been seeking. Amanda was so thoughtful every step of the way and I could tell her recommendation was a big part of what got my foot in the door. Kudos also to Melinda who did a great job answering my questions when I reached out. It's amazing they helped me out as much as they did for free. Can't recommend them enough if you need help finding a job

As I was wrapping up my Paralegal Certification, I began working with Amanda from A-star. She was able to quickly find time to meet with me and find me employment. I was shocked by how quick the whole process was. I recently received a permanent position within the firm that Amanda helped place me in. Overall this has been one of the best experiences I have had working with a temp agency and highly recommend choosing A-star for any employment needs.
