They have you complete a phone interview first then make you complete their loooong online application after that, then have you schedule a virtual interview. Just for them to never email or call back to follow-up. You email them for an update and still no response. Unprofessional and a waste of time!

I am a candidate looking for a FT nanny role and have recently started working with North Shore Nannies. I am writing this review because my experience has been pleasant so far so I was surprised to see such low ratings here. I have been proactive and responsive in my interactions with NSN so things are going so far. My tips would be (1) take the time to thoroughly fill out the application, (2) have your references ready to respond promptly to inquiries, and (3) be realistic about what you're looking for. I am optimistic North Shore Nannies will help me find the right role.

Unfortunately, I find that working with agencies are rather challenging as they don't necessarily place individuals accordingly. North shore nannies seems to only interested in urgent placements and not genuinely interested in placing nannies with ages they are most experienced in. I also find that they don't necessarily have a database of nannies ready for employment, rather they use sources like Care.com, Sittercity.com, craigslist, to find their candidates, which means that they don't have nannies that are applying to be with their agency. I believe there are other agencies available that may take a more serious approach in placement rather than just placing the first person that manage to inbox them via these other sites.

If I could give zero stars I would. 1)Horrible Customer service. 2)They don't even try to help you find a job nor complete there so called joke of an interview process. 3)They collect all your "personal" information and they tell you they will call you back and they don't, not even for a follow-up 4)You have to try to contact them it's a total waste of time because they don't even try to help you. Don't even bother trying to have this company help you. You're better off looking for nanny jobs yourself you will be more successful!
