I didn't think I could find a career path with my Psychology degree without going for a Master's. Fortunately for me, I had some help from the sincere efforts of the HR Office. I would like to give credit specifically to Kinga Toth who assisted me on almost a daily basis. I wouldn't have a job at Pennstate University if it weren't for her and her coworkers. Honestly getting a job at Pennstate is very difficult unless you have networked from within the University already.
Working as a temp gave me several perfect opportunities that happened to work out for me and after 3 months or so I have a permanent full time position with benefits! The handful of jobs that I worked as a temp at Pennstate have saturated my resume with work experience, refined my cover letters, and given me excellent professional references to further my career path. I should have done this earlier but I just didn't expect it to lead somewhere this great. Thank you again, Kinga.

As an non-native American it was hard for me to find a job, they made this mission possible! The HR office are very professional and always truthful with you. They were very attentive and made sure I knew what each job pertained to and if I was interested, they would apply on my behalf. I've recently moved to Pennsylvania and was looking for work. I had applied to a few jobs that were affiliated with the HR office. Very quickly I had an appointment and an interview. I discussed what I wanted to do further down the road and what my intentions were and they took all of that into consideration. I got phone calls at least twice a week, usually more often. They were always attentive and made sure I knew what each job pertained to and if I was interested they would apply on my behalf. These folks lied. They said the position would be till 10pm and would absolutely provide PSU tuition discount! Not only have I since confirmed that I would never be able to get tuition discount with this position, I have been working till 11 or later almost every single night. Terrible. They will say anything to get you involved in a position, . I'm not even sure if this job isn't just a TEMPORARY POSITION! Now I have to decide if I want to put my notice in at Penn State and possibly ruin my chances a future position with them. (Posting based on sons job)
