Since 1970, The Alpha Group, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit agency, has provided gainful employment, quality rehabilitation, and adult day support services to individuals with disabilities in Delaware and surrounding counties. Alpha is committed to the belief that people with disabilities have the same rights and responsibilities as all people; notably, the right to participate in their community.
Services and supports that enhance and provide additional life choices to individuals should be accessible. Alpha participates in partnerships and flexible agreements to provide individualized services and support that are based on their needs, wants, and desires.

The Alpha Group of Delaware, Inc. participates in partnerships and flexible agreements to provide individualized services and support to our members that are based on their needs, wants, and desires. There are five distinct service areas of Alpha which includes workforce development, integrated adult day, supportive living, transportation, and work training.
Workforce Development
Report
The Alpha Workforce Development Team provides supports to individuals who are interested in working competitively. We provide assistance with all aspects of this process from the early stages of understanding how to navigate employers' websites and online applications to hands on Job Coaching at the worksite once a job offer is made.
Integrated Adult Day
Report
The Alpha Group Integrated Adult Day Program provides a variety of community integrated social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for adults with disabilities. The adult day program participates in cultural and community experiences. Alpha members enjoy social interaction through outings such as visits to the library, museums, ball games, shopping, attending a play, going to the zoo. In addition, our members will give back to the community by volunteering at local community businesses and organizations.
Supportive Living
Report
Supportive Living Services provide assistance so individuals with disabilities can remain living in their own home. These services also help individuals foster community relationships. Our Supportive Living Direct Support Professionals are available to provide as little or as much support as needed to maintain a well-balanced and healthy lifestyle.
