Private Industry Council Founded in 1983, the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. (PIC), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates employment, education, and training programs in southwestern Pennsylvania. PIC assists youth, adults, dislocated workers, and the economically disadvantaged in reaching their educational goals, supporting their family growth, and obtaining training and employment. Building tomorrow's workforce in southwestern Pennsylvania through early childhood development, employment and training, education, and business services.

The Private Industry Council and its Education and Technology Institute are committed to connecting businesses and individuals in this region with essential resources. As part of this effort, we are pleased to provide the corporate training center at our headquarters office at 219 Donohoe Rd., Greensburg, PA (PIC GBG) and at our office located at 112 Commonwealth Drive, Lemont Furnace, PA (PIC LF).

Head Start and Early Head Start of Beaver County are federal and state funded, comprehensive child development programs designed to serve families with children from birth to age five, including children with verified disabilities, or are determined to be homeless under the McKinney Vinto Act, or have children with verified disabilities and who have other identified "risk" factors.
