Our mission is to teach youth and young adults ages 16-24 the skills needed to secure and maintain meaningful employment, and to offer programs that help young people improve their employability, career choices, and quality of life. YES serves as a bridge between young adults who are seeking employment and the local business community who are seeking capable and enthusiastic employees. Over the last fifty years, YES has served more than 50,000 local youth, at no cost, through our curriculum-based services.

Our dedicated, all-volunteer, board of directors at YES are industry experts and active community members, who advance our mission and vision while supporting our fund development efforts. We are governed by an all-volunteer board of directors. They steer our organization toward a sustainable future and work closely with YES staff on events and special projects.
Who We Serve
Report
YES serves young people ages 16-24. While many of our clients come through the program at the time they are ready to find their first jobs, they often return through the years seeking advice, job leads, additional practice in mock interviews and updating resumes, or just to say hello and give us an update.
Workshops & Services
Report
Two classes and one mock interview is all we require to enable more personalized appointments for resume writing, mentoring, and more. We currently provide online programming and services that ensure our clients, volunteers and staff are protected while preparing our clients for virtual interviews, and the employment that follows.
