Empowering Seniors with Comprehensive Aging Services in Akron, OH
Since 1975, VANTAGE Aging has dedicated itself to promoting successful aging through comprehensive programs designed to support older adults in maintaining independence and dignity. Our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) provides job training and part-time employment opportunities for individuals aged 55 and older, while our RSVP program enables retired and senior volunteers to contribute meaningfully to their communities. Through our Meals on Wheels initiative, we deliver nutritious meals, wellness checks, and household assistance to homebound and disabled individuals across multiple Ohio counties.

Our mission emphasizes a positive perspective on aging, advocating for programs that enhance quality of life, prevent institutionalization, and address poverty among older adults. With decades of experience and a commitment to community-driven solutions, we prioritize client-centered services that reflect our core values of respect, compassion, and social responsibility.

The staff was very professional and kind. I got there a little after 1 pm and was out no later than 1:30 pm. I went on my lunch break and I loved the fact that there was no appointment necessary. I had no food at home, and was unable to make it to other locations due to work hours. I'm so grateful for what they provided to me and my boys and will refer them to anyone in need.
