Recruiter writes me an email out of the blue. No email signature at the bottom. The guy just thinks I'd be a good match for some vague job. Fine. I wrote back and asked for the details. I had to write a couple of times for anything meaningful. He asked for my number so we could speak. I told him to call that afternoon. He ignores that & tries calling while I'm on the phone with a real recruiter.

A couple emails later & he gives the pay range. The job didn't pay well & it didn't require as much experience as I have, but why not send my resume? Now I know why - recruiter allegedly showed my resume to his "AE" who allegedly thought I didn't have enough experience. AE = Account executive? I think these guys are just data mining & I fear what they plan on doing with my phone number & resume. No idea who this imaginary client was, but I regret replying to the email & suggest you don't bother.
