To do that, CAC utilizes caring team and volunteers to provide efficient services to assist people achieve self-sufficiency and independent living through intervention, education and empowerment.

Friendly staff, clean, and can help you if you need rental assistance or help with your electric bill along with many other options if you are in need of help! I personally am very grateful for this place and their help

Really kind and friendly people can help you with tons of different life's challenges. Make sure and bring DL, SS card, income proof, past due bill you need help with & DL & SS cards of any one else in the household.

Set up rides through CAC transit. The operator said it takes 1 to 2 weeks to get rides set up. Not a bad place but that's excessive for rides to medical and work. Had to update the review. After I reviewed this at 3 stars I had to drop to 1. I called back to check on the status of a ride and was told I was not in the system. I rescheduled the same ride again and was told that the schedule I have could not be fit in to theirs.

Since then I have seen CAC busses at where I live at the time that I scheduled for to pick up other passengers and I have seen CAC busses drop off at where I work within 10 minutes of me leaving work. How does it not fit into your schedule? I think cause you don't want to help me. Or just anyone trying to truly make it for that matter.

Knox County CAC transit has an agreement with Blount County Transitional Care Center at Morning View Village. On several occasions while my dad was at TCC he was able to utilize Knox County CAC Transit to get to doctors appointments. Mr. Ralph is such a caring man and takes such good care of his customers. When he would see me at TCC while he was picking up or dropping off another patient, he would take the time to ask how my dad was doing. Ralph is the perfect person to have in that role. He was dependable, caring and a great representative of your company. Thank you for the great service you and Ralph provided.

I applied and got approved in November but yet have gotten the help. I was told still waiting on funding for help with my electric bill. I was very sick and I have been using every time I have to pay what I can until they get the funds. I'm not able to buy groceries as much or put gas in my car cause I have to make sure to try to keep my electric on til the funds come in. I'm a single parent trying to work and support my children. I don't get food stamps or child support it's just me.

I will always brag about CAC. They helped me with my electric bill when I thought I was for sure going to have to go without power. God's work at hand.

Called to get verification ONLY of what I was eligible to receive. told me they didn't do that? How can you ask me for every single document to verify who I am but I can't ask you for a printout of what I'm receiving? If that's not unprofessional as hell! I don't understand how I can't ask you for a document that has my information on it? Is that lawful? Guess we'll find out. A simple copy/ printout.wow terrible customer service

DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE. As I was trying to explain my situation the lady interrupted me and didn't care enough to stop. Told me to go to a homeless shelter. I thought this place was to help with housing? I told her how disrespected she is and I didn't appreciate her not letting me finish speaking. That I needed help but I realize wasting any energy on this place would be a waste of my time. Smh.
