Workforce Essentials is a private, non-profit corporation specializing in unique business solutions for employers, innovative training opportunities for individuals, and driver education programs. With over 200 skilled employees, we serve over 40 counties in Middle and West Tennessee. We have also expanded several of our workforce services to include online education and training for employers and employees.
Marla Rye: President of Workforce Essentials and fearless leader. With a background in Accounting and nerves of steel, Marla has been with Workforce Essentials even BEFORE we were born. Involved in Workforce Development for over 25 years, Marla has the workforce system experience, know-how, and determination to ensure every customer receives the best job training services available. Couple that with a people-friendly personality and a nose for new business and we have the best of both worlds in our leadership at the top.
Workforce Essentials offers a wide variety of unique resources to help businesses and employers. We can assist with finding, screening, or retaining employees through services such as job fairs, WIOA business services, job postings, drug testing, background checks, on-the-job-training programs, OSHA training, customized training, and so much more.

Do not send your child to this driving school. Instructor told my son that people kidnap children and drink their blood (can't make this stuff up). The driving instructor cancelled one of the 2 actual driving sessions the day of, with no notice. When he did show up for the (2) two hour driving sessions he showed up late and left early. For $375.00 this class was a joke!
