HORRIBLE dental agency to work for! This company is driven by money and only money, except you will see none of it. They pay much lower than the average for nearly every position. Go to online site and input your own pay rate you like for Dental Hygenist is $55-60+ and RDA $28+. This company will pay u $8-10 lower than online dental agency. Don't work for them.

I was told by a dentist that if I was hire by them I would get $24-25 for a front desk assistant with over 20 years+ experience. But I was hire through another agency which is ONLINE and get $30+. Thank goodness to the nice dentist who is on my side. Screw this dental company. They are only sweet to you over the phone when asking you to temp but if u refused then they would get mad and never call u again!

Wonderful local temp agency that helped me find people quickly when I needed them. I would highly recommend them as they respond fast. Dentistry and staffing can be stressful, and I'm glad they were able to help me in a pinch.

I had a wonderful experience with SDDPS. I moved from the Bay Area to North County and had no contacts or job opportunities. After applying to several job listings, I turned to an RDH Facebook group and had numerous recommendations to temp with SDDPS. I had never temped before so I was nervous, but they had me busy in no time! I was often temping 3-4 days a week (my preferred schedule) and since I was often so busy, the girls at SDDPS would just simply text me with the next opportunity for me to accept or decline!

It was so easy and such a great way for me to connect and meet people in the dental field, as well as figure out what kind of office I'd like to end up in down here. Eventually, after temping for about 3 months, I ended up with permanent work at 2 offices that I had temped at. All thanks to SDDPS! I loved working with Yolanda, Jennifer, Alison and co, and I was even kind of sad that I won't be communicating with them as often now that I'm permanently working! Lol. I highly highly recommend them to any dental staff looking to temp. They are amazing and more than accommodating! Thank you SDDPS so very much! :)

I can not express how thankful I am to Jennifer, Yolonda, and Maria. They are the only agency that really took care of me. I met with Jennifer three months ago and she really put me at ease about leaving my position and taking me on as a temp for other offices. I registered with SDDP because I wanted to work but I couldn't commit to an office 5 days a week. I was apprehensive because I hadn't had any experience with an agency. I called and all my questions were answered and my mind was at ease. This team is on their game! They reply quickly and are great about finding me work. I even ended up making a connection with a great office that I love.

Being a temp is great because you get to experience an office for a longer period of time than just an interview. If you are a proactive and attentive assistant and there is an opportunity for a permanent position you can then make the decision if this is the office YOU want to be at. As an RDA I definitely felt supported by this team and would highly recommend them.

8/2017: UPDATE: So my employer needed a temp, We ended up getting a horrible temp from SD dental personnel because we were desperate but at least she could suction? She was supposed to be an EF.(extended function) but she just stood around waiting to be told what to do. She could barely speak english, she had never done Zoom so she was pretty useless.

I am completely aware of their policies so their response is irrelevant. The fact is, they sent me on temp jobs that were to fill in until their permanent placement could start. While I was temping the Dr was mad they never sent my resume to him for the permanent job because I was far better than the person they hired. I was mad as well, they lost me that job for sure and that happened 2 more times after that. It's like they "forgot" (which i doubt they forgot they temped me out almost every week) I was looking for permanent work.

And the ATTITUDE issues are a constant problem with ONE person in particular and they all know who she is but she is "related" so I guess that's why they put up with the unprofessionalism. It's just really bad business.

I love SDDPS! Jennifer is the sweetest prompt person I have ever met (via phone calls) haha. She always gets me someone when I am in a rut. I have never had bad experiences with any temps from them. They also take the feedback very seriously. If you are looking to use an agency I would say this one all the way!

I have been a temp for SDDPS for several years (10 +years). I know that's a long time however with little ones at home I really didn't want to settle in a job. I wanted the flexibility to work when I wanted too. I honestly loved working with them. They are always working there best to help you find a job for the day or permanently. I finally found a permanent home thanks to San Diego Dental Personal Service.

I have been with SDDP for several years. I was a regular temp. I finally found a home but these ladies work hard to find you something. Just make sure your ready to go when they call you first thing in the morning!

I received my first phone call for a temping opening yesterday, from SDDP. This is 2 days shy of my 3 month interview with the office. I left them a message requesting that I be removed from the list. As I mentioned in my previous post I was looking forward to working with them, and although I gave my fixed schedule of availability this was the first time I was contacted.

I think if you don't have a job and are desperate for work and have every day open maybe they will work with you better, I am not sure, but I just wanted to leave my honest feedback that it took almost 3 months to get 1 call for a temping opportunity.

I referred a friend looking for a dental job to these guys. they were extremely professional and helpful. I can't imagine there's a better dental staffing agency out there.

I moved from New Orleans a little over a year ago and knew no one and no job openings for dental in SD. Since i had never been to SD before I reached out to Jennifer at SDDPS. That was the greatest decision I made. Within less than a week Jennifer had me a full-time position at a great office. Couldn't have been happier because apparently finding full-time work in your field in less than a week of moving to SD is unheard of. Jennifer was so sweet and very professional.

I have used SDDPS for temps when i needed to be out of the office and even for subs for RDH and was never dissatisfied. SDDPS is a wonderful company that will do anything in their power to place you at an office that is a good fit and find any temp help you need. The best temp agency I've EVER dealt with.
