If there was a no star option I would've used it instead. The BBB is just as much of a fraud as it claims I'm sure plenty of dependable companies are. Going through the BBB on a couple companies I've used and seeing how they hide half the reviews is pretty twisted to me. You're judging business yet have no room to. Do you really think I believe the last review was left in 2021?
Especially when I personally have left reviews and plenty others have as well. I might as well make a Way Better Business Bureau and actually allow people to leave their comment and it be viewed. Harassing companies and customers with calls regarding their comments and pages is completely contradictory to what BBB is supposed to stand for.

I'm so confused on why I'm being called and harassed by the BBB of Southeast Texas?! I wrote a good review for a business that I bought some Silver from online (Gold Pro). I noticed that this business had "Bad BBB Reviews" but I had a totally different experience with the Business, so I felt I should share my positive experience. I also do not believe every review online.
I go by how my experience is with a business. They called me and said that my review was "Flagged by their algorithm"? (What does that even mean?) I used my Gmail address which includes my name and I have had over 10 years, I verified my BBB account, but she really could not explain why she was calling me to "Verify" who I was. 8 minutes into the call, I asked her if I need to send her a pic of my purchase?
I do not think "algorithms" are the reason. I feel they are targeting this business. She even said on the call, "Well this business does not have a high rating, so we questioned this review." Exactly.why can't a business have good reviews and bad reviews? I think the BBB is like Yelp.you have to pay to be accredited. They are not helping businesses or consumers if they are controlling content and keeping businesses from having a fair shot at success if they have to battle over good/bad reviews.
I was so upset after this call, I called the business and warned them that the BBB was harassing their customers. I even called back to ask to speak to a manager for further understanding of why I was questioned leaving a good review? (I had to leave a voicemail, as nobody picked up). So, in response. I'm leaving the BBB of Southeast Texas a 1-star review.
I am pro-business, and I am pro businesses that treat their customers right. Perhaps others should challenge the validity of a for-profit business that acts like they are protecting consumers.but really are strong-arming businesses to pay them. Think about it.

I had to file a complaint with BBB around this past Xmas. And even though it was the Xmas holiday they moved quickly and thoroughly to help me get my settled and made sure I received my due payment and ended my almost 3 month ordeal of waiting to get payed. I finally received a after new years. And I have to say that the BBB help me 1000 percent. Thanks to everyone at the Eastern Texas BBB.

I want to express my gratitude to Ivy Cobb who through her persistence, dedication and fortitude was able to get the money owed me by Richard Spillman owner of Quick Cash 4 test strips. She is truly a special person. After months of trying to contact MrSpillman to pay me, Ivy Cobb never gave up and finally I received the check in the mail. I have to say that Ms Ivy Cobb did a fantastic job. I really believe that if not for her I would never have seen one penny of what was owed to me by the business. Ms Cobb worked my claim for over 8 months keeping me updated every step of the way. It's great knowing that someone out there has your back. I can't say it enough thank you Ms Cobb and the BBB.
