My ability to write a resume, search for a job, prepare for an interview, and negotiate a job offer have significantly improved with help from Rhett and Notus Human Capital. Rhett has seen it all once, been there twice, and knows at least three people in a variety of areas - making him an invaluable resource as my career coach. After having a chance to talk with Notus, and because of the professional way they treated me, I felt I should come back and repost some thoughts. When I originally posted my comments here, and other places, I was emotionally charged and did not provide the complete story. In the spirit of honesty, and without going into detail, I did omit some facts and made some comments that are not true.

Although working with Notus did not work for me in the way I had hoped, it's clear their services have worked for many others. At the time, I did have a lot going on in my life that kept me from engaging fully in the process with Notus and I can see that this negatively affected our success. Speaking with both Steve and Rhett I can see that they are in fact concerned with my experience and have always had my best interest at heart. I'm sorry for casting personal aspersions on Steve's and Notus' character. Steve and I really did have a good relationship and he was there supporting me all along, I was simply disappointed things had not gone as I had hoped - but I'm sure now there was no intent to mislead me in any way. Also, it's not true that Notus changed its name because of a bad reputation (they obviously wouldn't have still kept the name Notus) - I just injected that in because of how I was feeling. Also, I found out the information the BBB had for Notus in SLC was the incorrect (old) office and contact information and that was the reason they never replied. I am comfortable with how things have been handled and I wish them the best.

Leads are generated after you respond to a career opportunity by a purportedly unrelated job poster who then makes a "courtesy referral", sharing your contact information without permission. You are invited to contact Notus but if you fail to do so they will contact you. Unethical business practice in my estimation.
