Morningside Nannies

This place does quality work and I am happy with my nanny. I think and have heard unconfirmed reports that they contact your nanny after a period of time and tell them about other jobs. If true, In my opinion this is unethical and immoral, it might have the perverse effect on causing you to hire them again to find another nanny. Even though they did a great job for me, I would be careful about this and maybe consider putting this in your contract.

Morningside Nannies is a great company to work for! They are responsive, reliable, and genuinely care about finding a good fit for both the family and Nanny. If you want a quality position and value for your time, this is where you need to be!

During my zoom interview, I was not looked at almost the whole interview. Worst interview experience I've had on zoom. Then the communication afterwards wasn't the best, driving record on me showed a stop sign violation from two years ago and I couldn't dispute it so it disqualified me from a job with them. The only nanny company in the Houston area to have done that to me. I was super excited about working with them, that excitement left quickly.

I been working with this agency for few years already as a nanny, and they been placing me with awesome family's, ! Regarding the staffing in the office I also feel it's very poor way to treat future and current nannys, maybe try to hired happy people that it's happy to be part morning side Nannys team. But I also thank this agency for placing me in good places and well payed and generous family's!

The lack of professionalism and communication skills from both Amelia and Michelle I had over the phone with them is by far the worst I've ever experienced from any childcare company. They were very rude and didn't explain into detail the requirements until after stating "please explain your childcare background to me". Amelia never once said explain your last 3years with childcare.

I have an extensive background 10+ years working with children, even children with disabilities. I than asked to speak with her supervisor in regards to her being quite rude and sarcastic with me over the phone. As my background wasn't expendable enough. I've worked in childcare and healthcare. Her supervisor, Michelle calls me after being on hold for 30minutes and talks over me and was rude too.

She than tells me that I yelled at Amelia and had her very upset. Also, she states to me "how do you think we've stayed in business for this long". I never in my life would yell at someone over the phone. Especially, if it's for a potential career. I don't quite follow why two people would be this rude to potential employees. This company alone is not worth the time for anyone.

I should have followed alongside with the other horrible 1 star reviews. DO NOT APPLY HERE NOR DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AS THEY DEFINITELY DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS.

Writing this review as someone who has decided not to nanny through Morningside and therefore has nothing to lose. I at first thought that the coordinators were nice enough, though the level of informality was surprising at times (frequent typos in emails, for example.) On the positive side, they are very on-top of their jobs and devote a lot of time to matching nannies and families; however, as a nanny, I did not feel like I was treated with respect by Rachel and Michelle especially. Caretakers deserve to be treated with the same decency as any professional and I found the coordinators to be rude, condescending, and somewhat bullying at times. Granted, they don't make any money from the nannies, just the families, so their incentive to treat nannies well in such a large pool as Houston is low- but were I a parent searching for a company to entrust my search for child-care to, I would choose another or skip the middle-man (and their fees) and privately seek a nanny.

I'm a temp nanny with Morningside and I've had a wonderful experience! The families are work for have told me several times that they love the nannies that Morningside has sent to them to fulfill their temporary needs. They do a really great job of making sure families are able to find care for last minute situations as well. I highly recommend them to anyone searching for a long-term nanny or temporary/last-minute care.

WORST NANNY AGENCY EVER! Rachel and Michelle (the nanny coordinators) are rude and condensing. Rachel called me or should I say harassed me daily until I signed a contract with them. She even called me the day I was giving birth! They sent over an unqualified nanny who eventually quit after 6 weeks. The agency did not even offer to send a temp. What they did do was ask me to pay another $3200 finders fee! This company is a joke. I wold never use them again and I would say Mommy Beware! This place is a farce and unqualified to find you a nanny.

I work in children's ministry at a church and we absolutely love working with Morningside Nannies. We have hired multiple nannies to work events that we have at the church and have never been dissapointed. They are always on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They have the children's safety and well being in mind at all times. I would highly recommend hiring them for any of your nanny needs.

My experience with Morningside Nannies was delightful. The staff are friendly and worked with me to accomodate my needs. The nanny who arrived was well worth my expectations. I was very happy and satisfied with this business. I highly recommend any family looking for a nanny to use this service. The new management is super!
