LGC Hospitality is the premier hospitality staffing company in the United States, founded in 2003 in Indianapolis. George Lessmeister, CEO and founder, realized there was an opportunity to create a staffing service that provided qualified, vetted candidates for the hospitality industry. He thought if he applied the same detailed vetting process used by accounting and finance staffing, he could supply a more qualified candidate.
With so much going on in the hospitality industry, we realized the need to create one central place to find all the relevant news affecting bars, restaurants, and hotels. The Hospitality in the News magazine is a collection of articles from the blog series of the same name, featuring new articles (just about) every week that tackle important industry topics.

Was hired but won't be given any shifts. I enjoyed working with LGC in Portland, but the office in Indianapolis is unresponsive and unwilling to help. Ive contacted them via email, text and phone multiple times over the past 2 months regarding the fact that no shifts are available, and gotten no help. I simply downloaded Wonolo and started picking up shifts thru that app instead.

I love my job! It's a perfect work/life balance! In my position, I am able to be creative and independent as long as I get results! I also pickup temp shifts from time to time and those are always fun! It all depends on your attitude! If you're positive and open minded, you'll have a great time! I highly recommend my employer! :

I've worked for this company several times and have seen how unorganized and unprofessional they can be. When I completed my W-4 I had made exemptions that the company did not follow so the percentage of taxes that were taken out of my paycheck was more than what should have been. I called and made them aware and was told we will fix it and deposit the difference in your checking account, well it never happened.

Also any time that I call in to be schedule I'm given the wrong start times. This past Sunday I was schedule to work at the convention center, I received a call on Saturday telling me that my shift was canceled and that I needed to show up for my shift at 9am, when I arrived I was advised that they were not having any LGC employees work only "non for-profits" and the shifts were canceled.

So today I called to advised LGC that I showed up and was sent home and was told, " we do not pay show up pay, we had 45 shifts that needed to be filled and once they were filled we would not have you work" well I'm glad they have made me aware that they over staff people on purpose and do not care what kind of inconvenience this causes. I will no longer be working with this staffing agency and I will be telling my other friends who have applied here not to work for this unprofessional company any more. You all respond with a phone number but did not tell me whom to speak with at what extension to use

I have been working for LGC for about 4 months and I absolutely love it! Everyone you work with is nice, friendly and willing to help others when needed. I have bounced around multiple jobs and not seeming to find a good fit, but I believe I found it here with LGC. They talk about having a fun and family environment and I couldnt agree more. Nobody tries to walk over you and everyone there is willing to help and give advice when asked.

I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a workplace to call home. I love it here and I can't thank LGC enough for giving me an opportunity to work for this amazing company.

Worst experience ever for a "professional" environment. People are comdescending in the office. They have no equipment set up for individuals applying. On line application process on your phone as there are no computers in office. The staff is unprofessional and needs coaching on how to be better in their positions. Better have 2-5 hours set aside if you come in here.

Every temp service has the good with the bad, there just happens to be A LOT OF BAD with this one. So when this k of temp services you think of an office and room for lots of people who are there for jobs. This one is more like a broom closet inside of another business. The front desk receptionist doesn't really seem to understand that she's supposed to have a professional presence not the presences of a collegar student who's just there for a pay check.

Next is the rest of the staff some of them have A HARD TIME WITH ENGLISH, I mean like they have to concentrate on what they are sayigs, so English is definitely a secondary language there. So then there's the people in the back, you won't really see them much but you'll sure hear em. It's like a bunch of sailors back there, they just drop f-bombs and profanity like no one hears it. FianllF there's the jobs.if you don't speak Spanish. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU! All in all bad experience and I'd NEVER recommend any to them

Most of these good reviews are fake. The employees are good but the managers are si mean. The employees go 7-10 hours without a break. I saw a 16 year old employee get yelled at for sitting down for 3 seconds. The employees are good but aren't treated good, I used to work fir them but quit after 1 week. This is the worst job ever! Don't apply unless you like being yelled at for every little thing.

They don't even let you eat for at least over 7 hours. Some supervisors don't even let you take tips at some events. I could go on and on but it's too much. Bottom line; TERRIBLE job.
