Landajob In 1985, Landa Williams founded Status Pro, a Kansas City recruitment firm for direct hire positions in the advertising industry. LandaJob, a division of Status Pro, was created in 1992 to meet the industry's demand for contract employees. Status Pro operations were later incorporated under the LandaJob name. For over 25 years, companies with marketing, advertising, graphic design, communications and P.R. needs have looked to us to find the right talent for specific contract jobs, contract-to-hire and direct hire positions within their companies.
Services
Not too long ago, we wrote about beginner networking skills. Just to refresh your memory (and, personally, mine needs refreshing about every five minutes), networking is all about building relationships and is a two-way street. With that in mind, how do we build our networking skills? Well, like anything else that's a life skill, we.
At LandaJob, we're constantly networking, sifting through resumes, interviewing and making connections, looking for the right creative minds that mean business. Arm yourself with info-the more you share with us about the position, department and company, the better match we can make. Remember to include your hard skill needs (experience, education, background), but also the soft skills (culture, personality, style). Contact us and we'll explain how we can specifically help you and outline our search approach and fees.
One of our guiding principles at LandaJob is confidentiality. If you're seeking a job, we pledge to protect the confidential nature of your search and your resume. In turn, we expect you to protect the confidentiality of the information we share with you about our clients, their business and their jobs. We ask that our clients maintain confidentiality to protect our candidates at all times.
There is no cost to you from LandaJob. Our clients hire us and pay us to find matches for their needs in contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire positions. In very rare instances, an employer will ask you to be liable for a portion of the fee, should you leave prior to one year. If that's the case, you'll know in advance of accepting the offer.

LandAJob may be good for employers but not for employees! Total SCAM! They make you do a lot of documentation and believe me you can spend hours on it. Then they make excuses why they can't reimburse you. I think they keep the money they get from your paperwork and receipts. The disabled lose again!

Appears to be a scam -- Googling the sitename yields a lengthy history at 800notes (a "who called me" type site): http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-617-778-1895#p936203849619321219. They claim to be associated with the SSA, but searching on the SSA site gave no mention of them, only links to the SSA's own Red Book for their back-to-work program.

I've used Landajob for many years. I was glad to find this vendor because it's difficult to find truly professional advertising people. The just-out-of-college candidates are easy to find and plentiful -- but more often we need somebody with packaged goods experience. Landa at Landajob has always come through for us. I've used executive search firms both here in Kansas City and in New York. Too often I've had to waste a lot of time with people who just weren't qualified for the job.
