Bring enough resumes to hand out for all jobs which you feel you are qualified and would like to be considered for. We cannot stress enough how important the presentation of your resume is as well as how it is written. In addition to the content, your resume should be no more than two pages for your networking resume.
Employers - We provide you with resumes of qualified candidates in the area as well as other services. JobZone is focused on bringing active military branches of service, former military, veterans and other job seekers from the surrounding area to its job fairs.
Janet Giles, founder of JobZone, LLC began her recruitment career as a contracting specialist for the federal government. Most recently, while serving as the Transition Assistance Program Manager and Job Fair Coordinator at Naval District Washington, West Area, her emphasis was primarily focused on transitioning military to the civilian workforce.
Do I have to register to attend a Job Fair? Yes. We highly recommend you register online prior to the Job Fairs, but if you have not registered prior to the Job Fair, you may still attend but you will be required to register upon arrival. Should I bring copies of my resume? Yes, you should bring printed and electronic versions of your resume.
