CVOC Training Center Welcome to the refreshed website for Central Valley Opportunity Center (CVOC) where our focus is Helping People. Changing Lives. I am excited to be the Executive Director at Central Valley Opportunity Center. Each time I walk the halls of our offices and classrooms, I am reminded that CVOC is a uniquely caring, welcoming place for our students and clients to grow and learn.

I've learned a great deal over the years and my promise to our staff, the community we serve and to those that support CVOC is that I will continue to grow, reflect and adapt as long as I serve in this role.

This place is hands down best place I've ever worked. It's a great place to work. They are kind caring and generous. I'm very blessed with a very good job there. It's so easy to work hard for good people I'm truly very very proud to be there and give it my all.

Critical: Communication, Quality The rental assistance program is a scam no help there. After I took all documents the application requires they asked for more and more. No help there.

Maite was amazing with providing information about the program and how the process works, she was understanding and none judgmental. If you want more information or need help reach out to her she is patient and kind.

After being put on hold for over ten minutes a lady with a condescending tone asked if I had worked in agriculture in the last two years and because I had not I did not qualify.their website says nothing about having to be a farm worker for them to help you

As a student in CVOC's welding department, my experience has been great. The pros definitely out weigh the cons. They have the tools necessary for the education. They tought me welding in oxy acetylene, arc, mig, and tig. It was completely 100 percent free of charge. Great staff, experience, and opportunity. They helped me produce a great resume along with providing job leads.

My only complaint would be some of the equipment is a little out dated but still good. Other than that. I can't complain. If you get the opportunity to enrole, I encourage it. You can only gain from it.

I went to cvoc and took the welding class. While I was finishing up the class I got hurt at work. So they put me on hold. I went back and finished and got my cert but my ankle moved so I had to get another surgery so I couldn't work. It was hard for me cause I couldn't utilize the skills that I had inquired. Now a year later I'm ready to work and I tried to go back to the welding class and just brush up on my skills so I could get back in the workforce but CVOC told me they CAN'T HELP ME.

I find that odd cause they say they want you to be successful but they did tell me if I go to work in the fields for 25 days or make 800 dollars working in the fields then they will help me. It's crazy but I'm going to stay positive and I'm still going to apply for welding jobs cause I really enjoy it. I went through the worknet and they are still helping me cause they understand I had an accident. CVOC WON'T EVEN HELP ME FIND A JOB BUT WORKNET IS AND I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT.

Just sharing my experience with cvoc. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. THEY EVEN have it in there notes that I was hurt and I have all my paperwork to prove it and still WE CAN'T HELP YOU UNLESS YOU GO WORK IN THE FIELDS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THERE customers.worknet really cares.
