Following completion of his naval service, J. Christian "Chris" Dowell began his business career with the executive search firm of D.E. Foster Partners, Inc. His career included later stints as a Partner of The Abbott Group Executive Search and as a Director of Recruiting with James Martin & Co, a Fairfax, Virginia based information technology and management consulting firm.
