What a great experience working with John Hyer!. I had not been in the Job Market for more than 15 years but working with John gave me a lot of joy, full welcome and walk-through to the the current market job market. He is a very nice, friendly, articulate and very helpful professional. He worked very hard for me and helped me in landing to my dream and life time job.

The first offer we got was an offer no one can resist no matter what!. I will definitely recommend anybody in the job market using Babich & Associates in their job search. I wasted time meeting with Sharon Emiliano years ago at this place. they owe me a refund for my wasted time and gas. I have over a decade of banking experience and found a job on my own. the recruiter never followed up with me on anything and never bothered returning my call or email after I wasted time meeting her in person and filling out their garbage paperwork. Recruiter gives jan 6 insurrectionist vibes. do NOT waste your time. I found a bank job on my own. also I have requested multiple times to be taken off their email lists and I keep getting spam emails from them.

I have just accepted a Job Offer to begin my new position soon (FEB 2022). An Offer otherwise not available except for the work of Babich & Associates. The expertise and depth of knowledge, in addition to the candidate resources, brought by Babich, resulted directly in the offer I received, no question. I worked with John Hyer at Babich. I found him to be very professional and very in tune with my needs, I was not just a number to him, he worked very hard to find exactly the type of positions I was looking for. John politely asked me before he gave out my resume to make sure it was a company that I would be interested in. It was definitely not a shotgun approach.

I have actually never been able to find a job through an agency before, but John had me going on interviews right away and found me a fantastic job. I never would have been able to find this position without him because this job wasn't even listed on any of the sites. I highly recommend using Babich and John Hyer to find your dream job. I don't usually write a review on line, but I have to give Mr. John Hyer a five star for the service he provided. He is definitely one of the best recruiter I have ever worked with. He spent time to listen to my needs and gave sound advices on every step of my job hunting. He called me for the first time on 10/18/21, and I got an offer on 12/10. I landed on a new position that fits me in less than 2 months!

I truly appreciate the help he provided along the way. If you are looking for new a position in accounting/Finance industry, I recommend you to call start with Mr. John Hyer first. I would recommend him to all my accountant friends.

John Hyer is very professional and he told me what I needed to do in order to get my new job. Prior to my interview, John did some interview preps with me and this helped me to land the new job. John was very instrumental in ensuring that I have a smooth transition. He advised me to keep calm and to continue working hard during my transition period. I recommend John 100%!

The only redeeming quality about this company is that they do not charge job seekers for services- because they provide zero value. Honestly, posting your resume on Craigslist would be of more use than Babich & Assoc. The recruiter I met with swore he would have no problem placing me in a high paying job in my career field, then radio silence. I would email him job reqs from the Babich website and without fail, that recruiter would reply (after several days) that the postings were old and they haven't updated their website.

Then he would tell me I wasn't qualified because those jobs were in IT. If he actually consulted my resume, he would have known that I have IT experience, in addition to a master's degree in Information Security. Not sure what their game is, but it's not placing candidates. And, I've spoken with others who've tried this company and they've had the exact same experience.

They where very great for me. Joanne helped place me at a new job which was exactly in the industry I was looking for. She was quick and efficient and just all round great. I would greatly suggest if you need help on finding a new job Joanne is the one to ask. I have been at my job that Joanne helped place me at for over a month now and I couldn't be happier. The work environment is so much better and there is actually possibility for upward mobility in my new job.

Please do not waste your time with these people. Extremely unprofessional method of doing business and extremely outdated practices. Had me drive 30 mins each way for a 15 min conversation that could have easily been handled over the phone or email. I doubt these people even know how to use an email since everything they do is on paper in 2019. The conversation essentially consisted of the recruiter (if you can even call this person that) ripping my resume to shreds and then to top is off questioned my advanced degrees.

The next week this same person had the nerve to ask me my availability for a position I had never seen and just agree to a time. I immediately followed up by explaining I didn't feel comfortable agreeing to interview for a position I knew nothing about with only 24 hours notice. I then told them I didn't wish to continue working with them only to then have someone else from their org try to contact me.

I have used Babich in the past and was so happy with them that I came back years later. Everyone treated me with respect and worked hard to help me navigate my options. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Not impressed. My original contact had a 30 minute interview with me and promised to stay in contact about employment opportunities. Well un beknownst to me she left babich and my personnel file was hidden away in a closet in the back room- per my recent contact. Now I am still awaiting contact from Babich. I will be using other employment agencies for my work opportunities.

I met with Babich & Associates at the advice of a colleague and was very glad I did. Babich has excellent resources and it is evident they take the time to have both a professional and personal interest in your career.

When you go in, they ask you to hand fill out a really dense form with all the information that's already on your resume. You need to also provide names of references, I didn't want to provide these without a job lined up. You also need to sign a waiver that you're cool with them calling these references "if required" (which could mean anything and which is just annoying to your references without bringing any benefit to you whatsoever.) The form being filled out has space to enter ONE LINE of experience per job - making it clear that the form is a waste of time.

There is a position that is still being advertised but upon seeing the recruiter (who was nice), he said they've already moved on. Not sure why it's still showing up other than the fact that it has a nice juicy salary number which brings in idiots like myself. Then I'm asked to list companies that I'm applying to (which could run into the hundreds and I'm going to still apply to companies soon after I step out).

So I'm not sure how that helps. Whatever! I was told that they'll call me when they find something. I really doubt it. The only redeeming thing is that they didn't charge me. But dragging me in for no useful reason to the center of Dallas was quite definitely a waste of time.

A friend recommended Babich when I was searching for an Office Mgr/Admin job. I called to make an appointment and ended up talking to a recruiter named Tammy. She was friendly and asked me to email her my resume. A few days later she called me to come in and meet with her. Our interview was pretty brief but she was helpful, and offered advice on my resume and job searching. Tammy said she was impressed with my background and would be in touch as soon as she had something that looked like a fit.

It took about a week, and she called with two potential jobs. One position was lower paying than I expected, but the other one was with a good company with benefits and good pay. They offered me the position and I started this week. I'm pleased with Babich for helping me out. Thanks Tammy!

Babich & Associates is a very old company and they boast of that history on their website, but don't let the age fool you. I've interviewed with them in person and they have sent me out on 3 company interviews over a 1 year period. They don't get a high volume of openings and the ones they do get are mostly with very small, mom and pop type companies where the husband, his friends and family run the office.

If you do not get selected, they will provide constructive criticism so that's good. But if you're presented with an opportunity and you are not interested, then you are cut off and no one will work with you. They are out to help the company and the candidate is not a priority at all. Mostly they just wasted my time.
