This is a wonderful company to for and with. I've been with them a little over and they are caring, professional, and just overall exceptional. They are very responsive and work with you the entire way. Honestly, it's one of the best decisions I've made coming to work here.

2020.07: Spoke to the general manager, actually got called and informed regarding positions, policies, and this review. Sounds like Ms Plum has her work cut out for her, but has some great goals to get AES in the right direction. She listened to my issues, it lined up with things she had found, and I'm hoping this will be the start of a positive trend, within AES and out. 2020.06: I will give them one thing: they are quick with rejections using any reason to not have to deal with applications. Otherwise, don't bother hearing back from them or having a conversation with someone who can fake sounding pleased.

Your conversation with them feels like an inconvenience and it shows. 2019: Have been dealing with them since at least 2014. Not much to speak for as far as a recruitment agency. They will put you through arbitrary tests until you topple over, not that it seems to help them connect with jobs. The testing done has helped me get more positions than anything else. I am able to say I have skills evaluated by a third party agency.

I worked with Courtney and she's is incredibly helpful, honest and straightforward. AES is a well run company with a lot of great connections.

The girls are very kind but I felt like they weren't listening at all to what would work for me. They kept suggesting temporary jobs when I kept telling them I was something permanent, no doubt this is just a way to continuously filter me through their system. I've had plenty of friends say they had similar issues- a few even saying they kept trying to push careers they had absolutely no experience in and ignored them saying "I can't do that job and I wouldn't be happy in that job".

It just felt like they didn't care at all about what I wanted and only cared about filling in temporary jobs with horrible fits as a way to create return "customers". The only person that seemed to care and was trying to work with me and find the best fit was Cole. He mentioned talking to a big corporation that wanted AES to find work and he felt like it would be the perfect fit. When I called to check on things I was told he was no longer working there before they proceeded to "work with me" again and push jobs I don't want or can't do.

The lack of responsiveness from the employees at AES has been very frustrating and disappointing. When someone sends an email, I believe it is common courtesy to at least acknowledge its' receipt, but that does not seem to be the consensus here. I have had to leave phone messages and send e-mails before I received a response. As a staffing agency, I would expect more.

The people are nice but they don't help much in getting a job. They don't answer your emails or return your calls unless they feel like it.

Alaska Executive Search is the best employment agency in Alaska and the best that I have ever came across throughout the nation. The employees are extremely helpful, friendly, and they genuinely care about finding employment for all individuals. They are great at keeping in communication and respond very quickly to my phone calls and emails. I would HIGHLY recommend using their services for both job seekers and companies looking for employees. It is a truly amazing company and the people that make up their cohesive team are unlike ordinary recruiters.

AES is a professional recruitment agency that finds the most suitable candidate to the work place. My experience with AES has been perfect, through out hiring process. Instruction was professionally and clearly provided with the interview and whole hiring process was easy to follow. Courtney has interviewed me and she created warm interview environment, making me comfortable through out the interview. Kyle, the front desk staff, was kind and he greeted everyone visiting the office with big smile every time. AES makes job search experience so easy for both candidate and hiring company. I would recommend anyone to use AES for job search.

Great place to search for a job. The recruiters are always nice and help me with what I need. They also was able to help me make my Resume look fantastic for a really small fee (which was worth it!). Other than that, all their other services are free to individuals looking for a job. If your in the market for a new job, look them up and see what they have available.

AES is the best staffing agency in Alaska! I have experience with the other agencies in Anchorage, and AES placed me with the perfect fit on the first try! I went in for an interview in early September, and, within two weeks, started with my (now-permanent) corporation as an Accountant. I can't thank them enough for their support and finding me a career. Personally, Cherissa and Kyle are the best!

I really appreciate how they didn't just treat me as an employee; rather, they treated me as a friend. They always checked in on me and always struck up a conversation every time I went into the AES office. Both of you - keep up the hard work! It's paying off.

AES had been very helpful to me in finding the job in Anchorage pretty quick. I got an interview with them in June when I got here in Anchorage and I got placed in August. They helped me get a job at one of the best companies in town - with full benefits. Alena Stephenson was so helpful and I felt her sincerity in helping me find the right job for myself. Thank you AES. Thank you Alena and the rest of the team!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE AES! I've landed a wonderful job where I love coming to work and working with my co-workers. Cathleen was such an amazing help with finding this wonder position I have right now. Also to everyone else that has been so helpful when I was first starting and I had many many questions and took time out of their work day to answer them! Such a wonderful staff! I defiantly recommend partnering up with them on a search for a job in Anchorage!

I have been using AES for a few years now and they are always polite and considerate of what kind of employment and wages I'm looking for. They are always very prompt in answering any calls or question I may have and have always found me employment swiftly. I have recommended them to several of my friends and acquaintances, and will continue to do so.

AES dropped the ball on my application. I have extensive office management experience and a stellar resume. I have known three young ladies who received calls back within a week from AES recruiters. I tried to deliver a copy of my resume personally and was told that I needed to apply online and a recruiter would be in contact. I never received a call. The office staff was curt and short with me in person and completely lacked telephone etiquette. It seems as if AES only corresponds with women.

I found a medical job posted on Craigslist by AES and called about the position. The agent was very friendly and connected me to Diane Bachman who asked me for a copy of my resume then invited me into the office for a short interview and some paperwork. A few days later I stepped into the AES offices and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and professional everyone was.

I was promptly greeted by a cheerful receptionist who took my coat and asked if I wanted something to drink. I was handed a few papers to fill out in a well lit, modern, and very comfortable office. My cool water arrived in a sparkling clean tall glass and again was asked if I needed anything else. I was given plenty of time to complete the paperwork and then without delay was invited to meet my interviewer.

Once in the interview, I was put to ease by Diane's charming personality. She got to know me and I felt that she genuinely cared about my professional desires, likes, and dislikes. She had a great understanding of my qualifications and before our session was over, determined that I might be a good candidate for a different position. We parted ways and I received a follow-up call a few days later from Diane for the position she suggested might be a better fit for me.

I obliged and interviewed with my prospective employer who offered me a nice salary. While I did not accept the job for no other reason than a personal one, I was extremely happy with the services offered by AES and would use them again. They know their stuff, treat job seakers very well and match them up nicely with employers. They follow up promptly and make you feel like you're their only client.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the great experience and opportunity AES! PS. It was a pleasure writing this review Kristen Mucci, I wish you continued success at job fairs!

I applied for a temp receptionist job listing that was posted on Indeed.com and the next day I received a call from Alaska Executive Search to come in for an interview the following day. When I arrived I was given a packet of paperwork to fill out, and then one of the recruiters came to get me. We talked about my previous job experience and what kind of environment I wanted to work in.

I had to come back the next week to take a computer test (Word, Excel, Data Entry), and then I was told there was a good match for me. I went into the company a few days later and met with their hiring manager who already knew everything necessary about me and offered me the job. The whole process was really easy and fast, and I'm getting paid pretty well. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a temporary or temp-to-hire job!
